Schuberth C3

The Schuberth C3 New Generation flip-up helmet for the ultimate sport touring.

The Schuberth C3 is one of the smallest (2 helmet shell sizes - XS-L and XL-XXXL) and lightest flip-up helmets (approx. 1570 grammes/depending on the size of the helmet shell) in the world. The helmet shell is made of S.T.R.O.N.G. fibre = glass fibre-reinforced, special duroplast matrix developed by the Schuberth company.

The C3 is characterised by its superb aerodynamics (regardless of the speed range) and is by far the quietest flip-up helmet in the world with top aeroacoustics <=84 dB (A). The interaction of the highly effective ventilation system and innovative interior design facilitates maximum ventilation and ensures a pleasant helmet climate (7 litres of air per second at 100 km/h).

The rotatable sun visor also integrated into the helmet shell ensures good vision at all times and facilitates quick adjustment to changing light conditions.

The standard Pinlock visor ensures there is no misting thanks to the double-screen principle and can be changed simply without a tool thanks to the sophisticated visor mechanism.

Safety features include the anti-roll-off system (A.R.O.S.) which prevents the helmet rolling off. The helmet is also fixed in place with two neck straps at the C3's chin strap.

Reflective areas (in the neck padding and below the visor) ensure better detection at night and in poor visibility.

The new kind of ratchet closure facilitates simple and safe operation and the removable inner COOLMAX layer provides optimal wearing comfort. Of course, the C3 fulfils the current European approval standard ECE R 22.05.

Nice work, Michael Schumacher. Schuberth has obviously implemented many suggestions scribbled on a Ferrari serviette in April 2005. The new C3 is significantly more modern, compact and even practical than its predecessors. Its aerodynamics, acoustics and weight are without peer in the flip-up helmet segment...
